Who is this for? +
For: Anyone who wants well-made gear with a competitive running edge.
Description +
The Fartlek Definition Poster is a minimalist dictionary-style print: fartlek in large serif type, [fahrt-lek] and noun under it, and two definitions: "A run where you alternate between a fast pace and a slow pace" and "The one workout nobody on the team can say with a straight face."
What a fartlek actually is
Fartlek is Swedish for "speed play". Instead of set reps on a track, you run hard and easy by feel: to the next light pole, up the hill, until the end of the song. Coaches use it to teach athletes to change pace without staring at a watch, which is what racing asks of you. And yes, the second definition is true on every team.
Print details
Printed to order on semi-gloss paper in 12x18 ($30), 16x24 ($38) or 24x36 inches ($45), in white with black type or black with white type. Ships unframed and fits standard frames. It takes 3 to 4 business days to print and 3 to 4 in transit. Buy 2 posters and get 1 free, applied automatically. Prints that arrive damaged or misprinted are replaced free. Built to live on your wall
Every poster is printed to order on thick 170gsm semi-gloss paper, so the color comes out sharp and true to what you see here. It holds up for years instead of fading or curling. Hang it above your desk, in your room, or in your home gym. It's a small thing that makes a space feel like yours.
